What's this worth

I?ve been able to buy all my antique combines for under a thousand both private and auction. But I?ve also been willing to go alot higher on the price if I had too.

As someone who learned how to drive a combine on a 127,
you might never see another one that looks that good. Personally I'd rather have a 141, but theyre almost the same combine.
Its going to come down to how much you want it. They are almost all gone.

Is the seller looking for an offer?

Offer what you think is fair. An engine is usually ?worth?. $500 around here. That particular machine looks very, very nice shape-wise. It will come down to how bad you want it. I usually find out what scrap would be, and start there.

Sad to say, but old harvesters are only collectable to few people. They are hard to transport, and they need a large high storage shed. And some land to run them on, lol.

When I sell stuff that I would like to go to a good home, I heavily interview the buyer. For callous jerks the price goes up - for earnest people interested in the machine, and keeping it alive, I am a pushover, lol. You can tell the difference, if you ask enough questoons.

Good luck! Hope you bring it home - it looks like a dandy!

Thats not terrible - AND its close. Will save you the hassle and cost of hauling it - there is good value in that.

My 1st set of forage wagons would not clear my shed door - always had to let 1/2 the air out of the tires to get low enough.

You could make/ find a set of smaller wheels to use as ?storage? wheels. Maybe just some rims with no tires would work to get it low enough?

You may have to get creative - where there is a will , there is a way!
