AC All-crop 60 hauling

I'm considering buying a All-crop 60 that's 5 plus hours away from home. What is folks experience with loading them on a gooseneck trailer with ramps? Wondering if the tread width will fit on an 8' wide deck. I'm guessing it's an over width load without some disassembly.

Will be posting on the A-C forum as well.

They were shipped turned sideways on the trailer laying on their back with platform and toung off.

A guy put one on an 8 ft wide gooseneck with a homemade dolly wheel mounted to axle to make it. backed it straight onto trailer with little difficulty. it was a wide load but he went from Missouri to Texas.

I think the wheels are closer to 10' apart. The combine will just fit through a 12' door with just a couple of inches to spare, don't remember if that was with or without the straw chopper folded to transport position. I had 3 of them.

Above should be some pictures of how I hauled a couple AC model 72 combines home. Wheel span was too wide for an 8' trailer deck. I came up with the dolly wheel that I temporarily bolted to the axle and then backed the combines up the ramps. Used a piece of 6" channel under the dolly wheel on the ramp. Once on the trailer, I removed the dolly and both wheels, lowered and blocked up the frame and chained it down. Reversed procedure to unload. It definitely was still over width but I did it anyway and everything went fine. It was about a 4 hour trip one way with each of them. Took back roads as much as possible but still went through the middle of some big towns. A couple cops watched me go by but didn't bother to stop me.
