IH 1420 combine hydrostatic pump--control valve lever leak

I have an IH 1420 combine with the Eaton hydraulic pump. Got oil leaking from around the control valve shaft.

Is this hard to replace? Any advice on replacing what I am assuming is an O ring or something around the shaft? Thanks!

Disconnect control cable, drain oil, remove bolts holding valve to hydro, disconnect internal control linkage, freeing valve assembly to be worked on on the bench.

Remove pin holding internal lever to control shaft, and screw retaining control shaft into valve body, and withdraw control shaft.

Replace O-ring and backup ring (if used) and dust seal and carefully put 'er back together using a little grease and care so as not to cut or damage the O-ring and dust seal.

Thanks for the informative reply.

I was checking the IH parts book, and it appears they have a part # kit for the O-rings and seals for this.
