what would this rear wheel assist be worth?

The entire axle and mounting should be worth $2000-3000. It has many common parts with combine rear wheel drive units. I also think some of the parts work on the hydraulic front wheel assist units on the 30-40 series tractors. It is way more valuable than scrap price. There are still 5400 units being used. I do not know if there would be many 2wd ones needing the complete unit but the others could easily need parts.

5200 to 5820 choppers have the same PN for the axle extensions than the 3020-4020 (roud pipes). More than one 4020 had been "updated" with a chopper RWA axle.

Thank you for the replies. I believe I will take it out before the rest of it goes to scrap.
