I have read a whole lot of the forums on here regarding the JD 6620. I have spent most of the winter time reading as many as I can to learn how to be more efficient with my combine. From what I have read most you (JD and Mike and Todd and others) have said that the chaff needs to float out the back. Please look at this 13 second video and tell me what I may be doing wrong. I can tell you that I am not feeding the machine enough because the right side of the head doesn?t feed well, the auger flighting is more worn down on the right than the left. I will be fixing that this spring. I have new cylinder bars and all new bushings on the chaffer box. One of the posts Mike said run the fan faster than 800, most people try to slow down the fan to make it work better and that is the wrong way to go. Well, I can tell you this fan speed was somewhere between 770 and 800, and yes I am that guy thinking I need to slow down the fan. I haven?t gotten over 800 yet. I may need a new belt. So please enjoy the video and tell me what I can do to improve. Thank you for your time.
