JI.CASE 660 pickup head

I have a case 660 combine with a 4 belt pickup head. I am looking for the wire that holds the belt lacing together. Can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where I could purchase some?

What is the length of the wire? How thick is it?

Try JD or CNH dealers, they all have belt pickups and stock those wires.

I checked with the CNH dealers, nothing is available. The size seems to be .050 I could use around 17 feet of it. I want to replace the wire in two different pickup heads.

Jimm,, I would think you can the wire for round baler splicing, its coated with plastic and seems to last a long time on the baler belts, very tough stuff,

hymie 2lt I recieved your E-Mail. The wires are 2 feet long and .050 dia. there are four belts.
