Full flight auger

How well do they feed compared to a finger auger?I need to replace the head on my 2166 and a lot of the 1020 I have looked at had the fingers removed and full flight been put on.

Put full fighting kit on Dads 1020 header probable 10 years ago. feeds as good if not better that with the fingers. Also with a fair amount of rocks around hear we don't have to deal with broken fingers and running them through the machine. When I bought my 2166 part of the deal was installing the flight kit on the header before they delivered it.

Mine works great.I didn't know what it was at first. The local dealer explained it when I went to buy a set of fingers.
