Oliver, MinMo corn pickers

There's a 2-row Oliver and a pair of 1-row Minneapolis Moline pickers at an online auction in Ellsworth, WI. JD mounted and a couple New Ideas, too. Have only seen one Oliver around here. Have never seen a Minnie as far as I can remember. Don't think I've seen a mounted JD, either. Mostly NI around here.

In my neck of the woods, in the heyday of pickers we had Minnie, Oliver, Deere and New Idea. The Minnies were pretty much all pull types. The Deeres were mostly mounted pickers until the real late ones came out. When the corn picker era was winding down Deere and New Idea pull types were all that was left. The New Idea picked the cleanest and Deere put out clean corn too but the Deere's had a stripper head that ran more trash through the husking bed, putting a little more loose trash in the crib.

Yeah, I see that. Did knights tractor or clatters tractor bring inventory to these sales? This is the 2nd Smith sales auction that had ALOT of IH stuff. They rather specialized in that line.

I don't know Knight's or Clatter's. This is the 2nd sale they've had at this site north of Elsworth. I kinda figured it was a repair shop/used equipment dealer that closed down, from the amount of stuff there - some looking like it was in mid-repair. I recognize some of the gravity boxes from ads I've seen on craigslist in the last year or so. Probably a dozen or more, lined up along the highway.
