Still works - just not much going on this deep into winter.
I was going to post about these items, but I am afraid of finding all 3 at the same time. My checkbook would not survive this all. But any pictures of any of these would be neat-o.
I am looking for some Fox chopper parts, a New Holland SP818, and a Gehl SP80-84.
I should NOT be looking for those last 2, cause I certainly do not need them. But they are SO neat, would love to have either (or both)!
And, well I can always use parts for my Fox Super D. If anyone finds some pull types around, most (not all) cutting head parts fit both.

I can't help you find any of those things, but I sure spent a lot of hours in front of Fox choppers years ago. Ran a Custom 7, a 1000 and a 3000 over the years.

We had a Custom 90 Fox.
Logged alot of hours in front of that thing. We used to pull it with a IH 560, and then traded the 560 in for an 886. 886 was a bit overkill for the custom 90.

Well, looking for some blower bands, in particular. I wore one out last year, and the parts depot is out of stock! I get pretty lucky - they usually have the old stuff I am after, lol.
I have not called the Works bros, as shipping will be high-ish. Trying to find stuff in or around Wisconsin that I can drive to.
Would not mind a few spout parts, since those wear out, too. Never can have enough cutter head parts.
Starting to look for a new or used lower apron - my Super D is a late one, so it has the very wide apron chain. Seems to be hard to find. I had a line on a complete chopper that had a supposedly VERY new apron on it, but it must have sold - the CL listing is gone. I waited too long.
And I have to say I just enjoy talking to other people that have had these machines - always enjoyable.
