I was nearing the end of harvest last fall with my L3....
Drove up to the gravity wagon to unload, and dang if I didn't drive into a dip, and the auger hit the wagon right on the wagon corner.
The protection bar that is ip under the auger caught on the wagon, and before I got stopped moving, it pulled the auger backwards some.
Dang it! Happened in an instant.
So, everything worked, and I finished up the last 25 acres of corn.
But, that ain't right. The auger now is in so close when it folds away it bend in the ladder where it slides down and sits on.
I don't see any kinks or bends or anything anywhere in the setup. The ball swivel appears to have taken the stress well.
But, now, then, how do I straighten this out again? When there is no obvious area that got tweaked..... I will assume it moved things a bit coming right out of the tank at the root, only takes a degree of two, and hopefully loosening the struts and hardware mounting it will all give back a little, but just not sure if there is an alignment procedure for this?
Dang it. I was mighty mad at myself that day.
