Here's one for you Case guys. Coming up on auction. Also some other Case stuff. I have no interest in this, just passing on info.

Last summer I bought an almost identical '73 model C60 Chevy, excellent 9:00 rubber, all steel bed and HD hydraulic hoist with the more desirable 366 engine, very nice cab, for $4250, but it probably has lots more miles. With the low miles the '74 at auction may well bring much more, maybe up to $5500. The drill fill grain auger on it will not make it bring any more as they are kinda obsolete now because everyone wants a tailgate auger. Just my opinion, of course.

Did you notice in the pic of the 660 combine that there is another almost identical Case SP comine sitting to the left but I could not find it listed on the sale bill. Maybe not going to be sold or ????
I may go to this auction as it is only about 40 miles from me, unless I find a more desirable auction to attend.

I would not think the demand for straight trucks would still be that high. That price is a little stronger than they would bring here in ky.

That 660 looks nice. Has anyone here ever ran Fescue Seed with one?? How well did they do??

I have not ran actual Fescue seed but I have ran many others through my Case machines like crested wheat grass seed, alfalfa seed, camelina seed, brome grass, sweet clover and safflower seeds as well as many small grains, they do a Very good job and I have been told by several elevators that I bring in the cleanest samples they have ever seen in all crops,, like all machines they need to set correctly but they are not hard to set I feel.A few shots of mine at work for you
