Non running JD 55 combine

Is there any market for non running square back 55 combines, one is stuck the other locked up while running, I have to buy the whole machine to get the heads !

In short: Yes. But don't think that you bought gods gift of 55 combines. In other words you bought the machines for the heads, be happy with whatever you can get out of the combines.

If it helps I just bought a 45 square back with a locked up motor a 12 foot platform and a 210 corn head for $530. About what scrap is worth here. This one was about 20 minutes from my house. I couldn't say no as there are very few 5 series left around me. I bought it for the combine parts and that was it.

Might have better luck parting them out. Hauling can be a big factor with them? Does either of them have a C-thru graim bin extension on them? I'm looking for one. Where are you located?
