I wonder how many of those were made?

I've seen one or two 'modern' pull type JD and IHC machines, but never saw a White.

They are for northern wheat country for the most part, kinda specialized market? As straight cutting expands, less and less of these, any new pull types still made? Any of the companies still make a small enough combine to convert to pull type?

Nice pictures. The 8650 was quite popular up here, a couple of my neighbours had them. They had some problems with the walker crank bolts either loosening off or stretching. You had to keep an eye on them. They did a good job, though.

Straight combining has pretty well brought an end to pull types. The last ones were the John Deere 9501 and CaseIH 1682. There's still a few in use but getting less all the time. New pull types haven't been made for many years.
