I Need a decent Website That Worx.. Not Any Yuppi Modern B>S ,..i am not up to theirstupid yuppishytgames

AGCOs parts web site is a total joke on most of the older stuff. Hard to navigate.

Your finding out why lot of MF combines around here burnt the night after the type of failures your having. I think that the MF combine is one of the hardest to work on. I know the JD 00 and 20 series where not all fun and games but the MF was worse. Large tapered drive pulleys to remove to get to od sized bearings.

Great big Thanks for the intro to willies site ,.. after this a.m ..I am far better now ,although last nite i listed the 510 for parts in the classified section here , perhaps it is fixable by a rube like me afterall ,. this ami went to Chinns and was Able to get a parts diagram blowup,. 1st of All I was incorrect about the beater ,,.. the culprit is the hi/lo housing off the cylindar shaft has broke away and spun from 12 oclock to perhaps 4 o clock ,,. consequently throwing the big hub into the tire ,,.. in the waning daylite and 15 degree temps and soybean crud ,. that was difficult to determine ,and being incredibly anxious after jinxing myself when telling My Sara ,earlier ,. It loox like i Will be done before sunset ,,.. WRONG !!!.. i will need to do a autopsy,.,. there is a boneyard a t rudolphs in princeton ind,. hopefully they will have what i need../. Jd Seller ,. after Trying to enter AGCo site i was thourghly pizt and wrote this post ,.. you are so rite about agfco ,./.. It seems that working on a massey combinewill be easier than navigating their site.

agco parts not all the hard to use go guest book when it opens type in 510 then hit mf it show three different serial number select the one you need when it opens go top page it say home browse.. view... on the view tab when it open select hide/show/toc and there it is you can wide and narrow the pic. it not lot harder then the new jd page or any the other one i also use there app iphone ipad you have to sign up for it and it can be a challenge the parts book dont work all that well on apple iphone

This is to the "JD" guy; I assume the "JD" stands for GREEN ?? If not, I will apologize in advance, but I have NO difficulty navigating the Agco Parts Book all the way back to a D 17.

I have that gear box apart now on my 550. Replacing a couple needle bearings and seals. Some are not available thru agco, but they are out there if you search. I have a parts and service manual, the agco parts lookup offers the same pictures as my parts manual. You need a computer to navigate the web site, my tablet will not work right!!!!

There is a pretty good supply of salvage parts over in Franklin, KY at sloans. NOS parts I have to get out west. Nathan

The trouble is I am usually using AGCOs parts book system on Willmar equipment. So go into it as a guest. Go to Willmar. Then chose a 4500 loader. Yes your in the parts book. No index. You have to page through it page at a time until you see what you want. Then if you do find it you can not get any parts information because your signed in as a guest. So you can not find out the price or if it is still a good number until you call your dealer.

I use CIH site and can find out if the part is still available and the list price. I can do this for JD, Ford and other brands but not AGCO.

I have asked two different AGCO dealerships to sign me up as I buy parts from them both. They either can not do it or will not do it. I really think it is will not do it. AGCO has different price levels for "LIST" price. The dealerships/AGCO chose which price they want to use. So you could easily get different "list" prices from fellow signed in under different dealerships.

We had a long harvest here I thought, it gets frustrating and I finished before thanksgiving.

One morning was so cold, the combine out in the field wouldn't start, second year I owned it looked at it and it had batteries only half the CCA it should have, so hustle around and get batteries for it and get it started at 20 degrees out in the windswept field, unload the hopper, make 3/4 round, and all hydraulics stop. As mine is a hydro, it doesn't move either, rolls to a stop, no power steering, no header lift, nothing.

I felt about like you do that morning........

It gets better again. Might not feel like it today yet.
