Have a 55 JD with 218 6. The starter solenoid got damaged when engine was pulled. It is one where the sol is built into the starter. We can't find one anywhere.Is there any other starter that would fit?

It's simply a common Delco starter solenoid, same as was used on GM cars and trucks of the era and beyond.

Any autoparts store should have one.

Original number was Delco Remy 1114328, alternate numbers... 1114351, 1114356, 1114368.

They can be had for $14 and up, on the 'net.

Autoparts store should be able to cross those numbers, also, Standard Ignition part # is SS200.
