Massey 8560 8570

Ok everyone I'm sure some of this has been discussed before but I would like some in depth details. Been running cylinder style masseys, and could use a bit of an upgrade. I have an 8560 and 8570 real close to me that I can have a chance to buy I think. Combines are owned by separate people, both are somewhere around 4000 hrs, been in the shed. What are things that need to be inspected, watched carefully, or that might happen in the future? Second question; what model and how new of a grain head will attach to these combines with out adapting? Third question; has anyone ever adapted a 9100 series grain head to one of these combines, if so what does it take? Please get as technical as you would like. I'm not concerned with other brands of combines at this time I just simply want to know some ins and outs of these two and the grain heads.
Thanks.

Brother had two 8570s before he traded for newer MF models, liked them both. One had rear wheel assist, other did not. Both had 18.4 X 38 rice tires with duals, never did get either one stuck but did get close a few times. 8560 has the smaller 5.9 engine, 8570 has the 8.3. If you don't get in a hurry the 5.9 would be OK, but the 8.3 works much better.

Been running an 8570 the last two harvests. Good combine. Built like a tank. Ran with two 9600 Deeres with similar hours. The JD's caused parts runs while the MF did not. The only thing I don't like about it was that I had to shut the rotor off to use the header reverser. Use that alot picking up windrowed canola. Rotor has hydraulic reverser on it and it works good if you plug. Parts are common to newer models like the 8780, 9790 and the current 9520 so there should be parts available for a long time yet.

Another tip: When you plug the feed accelerator, just hook a chain from the drive pulley to a pickup and yank it backward a little. Slug cleared and combining within a half hour. Otherwise they can be a bear to unplug.
