oct 1956 , when i was born my Dad was custom combining soybeans with a Sc Case and a F-2 Case combine ,then we got a jd -25 , then a jd -30,, then we went big time and got a 203 ihc ! , my brother traded the 203 for a MR 510 with a 327. it burned after 5 yrs , he got another 510 with a 350, it was a nice updated combine ,but he and i loved the 327 best.but we were just kids just out of hi school //////fast-F,to .ON MY Farms./ my latest is a clean low houred 510 mf diesel , its loaded with beans now ,also this spring i found a clean 300 mf,i am gonna save the last 5 acres of beans for it to run when i get almost done . i have a 750 mf , hydro, that has been THE main combine for last 5 yrs , it is loaded with corn . for a couple yrs i had a Gleaner F Diesel, it was a decent machine but problematic because i did not know how to speak Gleaner,. tuf learning curve for a massey guy .LOL./ my 1st combine i owned was a 1968 ,MF 300 , i run the heck out of it for 20 yrs,i got a 1964 massey 300 from a neighbor that gave me good service as well for 5 yrs ,, But, it is sidelined with a broken 11 ft table auger,/// back in 2005 , i got for a song a diesel 300 ,probably last yr built, that was a fine running combine except the forks in the tranny were bad.finally lost the transmission during 2nd season , i have a doner axle and tranny,,..still waiting for time to repair it .
