Out with the old, In with the new

Probably not what you were thinking but here's the new clean grain elevator chain I got for the 105. For reference if anyone is in need of a chain for their 105, all you have to do is buy two 6600/6620 chains and loop them together and cut down to the length you need. Other than the length they are identical. Got these from Shoup.

Naw. When I initially looped them together I had one section uside down in the pic. Corrected that before we installed it.

It went in quite nice. I tied a rope to the old chain when it came out and used that rope to pull up the new one. Once we got it up and around the upper sprocket, we used a wrech to turn the beater shaft and spin the chain down the front side. Had to feed the paddles in one at a time while the other person turned the shaft. Not a bad job at all.
