6600 fan speed?

Any way to get more air out of fan on chaffer? Fan pulleys look good, put a new belt on. Tachometer showing about 725 rpm on fan shaft at about 2300 engine rpm. Thats about the engine rpm we have run for the last 30 years. Thanks.

I run my 6600 diesel at 2500 rpm's fan is about 850 rpm's

Check your speed adjustment dial, it may only be spinning but not changing your pulley spacing, threads on adjustment rod maybe striped.

Ok I think all right. Pulley halves all the way together on upper one and opened all the way on lower one. Roll pins look ok. Put new belt on, old one was old. Just need more air, combining organic beans or was before all this rain, need a hard freeze to dry things down.

Check your engine speed. I think you are way low. That has a direct effect on all separator speeds. Mike
