I need some retractable auger fingers. I bought a 315 that looks a lil' worse for the wear and 5 fingers are busted off. They're 3/4" round stock with some half inch threads at one end. About 9 3/4" long. could also use the tool that is used to attach the head.

The tool is not too hard to fab. I have a pic of mine on Photobucket, but they don"t allow posting to another party unless I pay about $399! for a year. Well, that"s not gonna happen.

Use the concave door tool to latch or unlatch the header locks. Fingers are heat
treated for hardness. Ben

I think we're talking about the same tool. it has a square divot at one end.

I ordered the fingers and the tool from Mikes Equipment in Buhler Kansas. $28 new for the fingers, which are 9 5/8" long, 3/4" round stock with a few threads on one end. Yikes! Mikes wanted 13 apiecefor used.

I don't know what number it is. A neighbor has a head from an R40 he is not using. Combine burned up. I can look tomorrow and see what number it is.
