6620 view thru glass door on right side

Its a dailey battle to be able to see what is going on with my 216 flex head, when im harvesting beans or grain on a sunny day,, on the very right corner of the cutter bar, when the head is viewed thru the right side glass door. There is so much reflection from the other side of the cab, it interfers with your vision. I wonder if Deere engineers could have done something differently to rectify this problem. Anybody else running these old girls have this problem?

Clean windows really help. Just a little dust and you get the glare. Running a narrow header makes this worse. I ran a JD 215 for years and had this issue. I switched to a 20 foot header and you can see the right side better. It is not behind the cab post as much.

Some trouble with my 7720. The 9500 is a lot easier to see out of. I bought a little hand held micro fiber duster and keep one in each combine. It does a good fast job. Each morning I wash my windows with windex but don't take long to get dust again.

My 1660 Case had the right hand cab post in the worst place for my 15 ft. head. On the 21 series which I have now they used a curved windshield which moved the post back a little. Much much better. To get your cab windows super clean, I wax them inside and out with auto wax. Can't remember which brand I have right now but it shouldn't make any difference.
