JD 4400 w/ 292 engine

how do you remove the starter, looks to have some brackets bolted to it,needing some advice,thanks Al

It's been a LONG time (thankfully) since I had to deal with one of these, but (IIRC) the belly-band bracket is secured to the engine with one bolt, and can be removed with the starter, once that bolt and the starter D.E. bolts have been removed. But, like I said, it's been a LONG time!
