I think it would be worth trying. With field corn, the large stalk volume would really slow you down, but popcorn is generally smaller. Would take some experimenting to get the cyl slow enough for corn, and the concave/chaffer/sieve set right.

Totally.

Believe it or not, but quite a few retired folk use
them for that up here in North East Wisconsin.
I do not know what the specific settings are - as
was stated, you would have to play with it a bit.

I"d try to get the cyl down to about 500 rpm, concave maybe try at half inch. If it doesn"t clean the kernels off, go smaller. Sieves- drop a handful of kernels in, and open enough for them to fall through. Top one a bit more open. Wind- enough to float the chaff out the back, without blowing kernels out.

Never used a combine on popcorn...raised it in the home garden decades ago...my sister and I were going to make big bucks! Hand-picked it, hand-shelled it, sold nothing. Didn"t even pop all that well either. I started farming with a pull-type combine (AC 66), but it just stands to reason that you could use a combine for that. One reason why AC marketed it as the All Crop 100- op manual had instructions/settings for that many crops.
