John Deere 45 S/N 49446-H Separator clutch spring

I bought this combine and it did not have a separator clutch pulley return spring to keep the tensioner pulley away from the belts when declutched. I found the correct spring but for the life of my I can't tell where it goes. Perhaps there is something else missing. The new spring is only about 5 inches long. I have attached a picture of the area where the spring should go. Does anyone have a 45 in this S/N range that could send a picture of how the spring properly attaches?? Thank You
