Hello I'm in desperate need of a sheller my haban has given up for the last time. I like the smaller one but would take anything right now I just need it ready to go. I use it to shell corn for my few head of cattle. Please HELP!!!!

If you are feeding it to cattle you should be grinding it correct? So why not just grind and feed ear corn to your cows? The cobs do have feed value and are good for stomach health. Just a thought. Tom

x2 on the feeding ground ear corn. That's what I feed my cattle and sheep. I get some amazing quality meats with the mixture of ground ear corn and pasture.

When I worked in a feed mill in my much younger days we ground a lot of ear corn for cows. Cow feed needs something for some bulk and the cobs are already paid for.

I agree with other guys about cattle corn
not needing to be shelled. But I live in
northeastern Ohio and we have a sheller unit
from an Oliver mounted picker that is
mounted on a trailer. You just hook it to
tractor and hook up the pto and you shelling
corn. My uncle used to use it to shell ear
for his hogs. I'm sure it's for sale.
