I have a 1200 to sell. It's been shedded , is in fair to good condition and is basically ready to use. I am planning on selling it, what is a fair asking price?

At least what the scrap price would be. Nowadays they are serious competitors, BUT if you care to keep the 1200 around, please do NOT sell it to the scrapper. Once it's gone, it's gone forever, none made anymore. There are still lots of folks around who enjoy this kind of equipment.
Where are you located at?? Email is open. Ralph.

It varies so much, kinda need to find 2 buyers interested, as they go for scrap price one time, $1100 the next time....

I bought a rough shape D for $75 a couple years ago, just before steel went up - sitting in my grove now, good parts for my good D sheller.

Another time, you see a tough D go for $700 and wondnder why so high?

a guy had an ad in the paper looking for one, I was thinking $500 for a starting point,I won't send it for scrap as I would like to see it go to someone that needs it but does anyone know what they weigh for a base price of $200 a ton?

I'm interested and would come get it from Michigan. I need a sheller in a bad way right now
