I have a Massey Harris model 60 PT combine that I have used for everything but have decided that it works best for small grain. When I got it 20 years ago every other wire was out of the concave and just used it like that. Now I want to replace them. Has anyone done that job and remember how to add or remove the loose concave wires ?
I'm asking because the manual says to remove the retainer strip on the back of the concave. The parts book shows a Retainer Strap for Round Rods for Concave but in the illustration it appears to be on the front side.
