That was stupid. My M2 doesn't have the ability to run an orbital motor. I need a pickup head that either has its own on-board hydraulic system, or one that is mechanically driven. Found one in Worthington. Now gotta make a 5 hour drive!

Ah, yea, gleaner put the hyd resivour and pump on the head driven off the header drive shaft..... Had to think a bit on my pickup head, only had
the M/L a couple years....

Not sure what direction you are passing through, but the Gleaner Dealer in Mountain Lake, MN is big on older Gleamers, lots of boneyard, and a shed full of takes offs........

I called them up for some other parts I need (the rubber apron and deflector that goes in the walker housing if you're using a straw chopper while in corn). They do have a pickup head, but it fits an L only and is pretty much ready for the scrapyard by his description.
