AC 66 on Craigslist NE Iowa

Not a bad looking machine- close to JD Seller, maybe he should buy it? Get some new color in the shed. Some may wonder about the short unloading spout....I have a Model 100SP with the same as a second spout...PO was a grass seed grower in northern MN and used the short spout for direct filling of sacks.

I don't understand some of these people. If they don't get the price they want, they'll scrap it at a loss. Years ago I looked at a pretty decent JD 30 combine. The seller had a firm price of $1000. He didn't sell it so he scraped it and got $75. Dumb!

Agree with you Farmer,

I had the same thing happen, a fellow I knew, bought a little "600" Case at a auction, motor was stuck, so he decided to pull it home, got a loader to lift the header, then tied a tow rope to the grain hopper! On the way home it bent the hopper badly. I learned he wanted to get rid of it, I ask him what he wanted for it, he said give me a offer, I told him 500.00. (He paid 250.00 at the auction) He told me he wanted 750.00 or he would scrap it, I back off to save his pride, a week later her sold it for 250.00 scrap.

The shorter unloading augers were fine for the flat hay beds with grain sideboards, it was when the hopper beds came that longer ones were needed thus the extension that was about 2-2.5 feet that took care of the hopper beds of the day. I had 60's with both extension and without.
