Not mine and no connection to seller but there is a MF 35 combine for $1300 on Madison WI craigslist. I always thought they were neat looking little machines. What engine did they use? The same as the MF 35tractor? Tom

Many of the gas models had a slant 6 dodge engine.

That would have been the bigger models, not the small SP 35 at either 7 or 8'. That would have been the 10' up machines as a 6 cylinder would have been too long to fit on top of the seperator housing where the engine is.

Is it the 35PT or the 35SP? I don't know if they ever put a engine on the PT (Pull type) but on the 35SP it was a flat head engine, I never knew make of engine if different than MH. Think the 35PT was avaible only with 7' head but the 35SP was avaible with either 7 or 8' head or 2 row corn head that I had and the 8' head.

Not a bad looking machine. I think they used the Continental 140ci engine. The MH 22 and MH 23 tractors used that size engine as well.
