IH - McCormick 76 combine

I know it is against the rules, but..............

I have a 76 combine that need a new home. I hate to see it scrapped, but it could happen. I need room in the shed for my new swather, and I do not need 2 pull combines.

Here is the link ; https://greenbay.craigslist.org/grd/6142482568.html

I really do not want much of anything for it - I just put the price on the ad to deter scrappers.

I have had it for 20 years. I bought if from the 2nd owner, been shed kept the whole time. Decent enough shape, but not perfect/museum quality.

If anyone has any interest, please let me know - thank you.

I'm afraid I have to pass on that one. That sure is a nice one. You wouldn't believe the absurd prices those things bring in Ohio. Very hard to get pull-types around here.

Too bad I don't live closer, and too bad I don't have extra shed space! If either was the case I'd take that off your hands. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Hope you find someone. That's too nice to scrap out.

The A-C All-Crop is probably the least popular and they still fetch 500.00 If that 76 had a canvas I would say $1000- 1500. There was an I.H. model 82 advertised around here for $5000 a few months back.

I wouldn't call the All-Crop the "least popular". They were the lead in the pull type combine market from the time they started in the 30s until they quit in the late 60s with a total of about 300,000 built. They are still harvesting special crops today that no other machine can do. Due to the abundant availability of them around is bound to drive the price down.
