Greetings
This is my first post here so bear with me.
I have an old Baldwin Gleaner pull type combine and a M M one row corn picker sitting in my woods. We used the combine in the 60'S to harvest soybeans.
If anyone out there is interested in either of these, let me know. They may be good for parts or to restore.
Thank You

Does the Gleaner have a Model C Ford engine? That was the industrial version of Ford's model A engine. I met a fellow one time that bought a bunch of Model C engines off of old Gleaners; he was using them to build small airplanes that resembled a Piper Cub.

My son found one of them engines and bought it. Not quite sure what he was thinking but his interest is in Model A Ford cars so I think that he had hope in that regard. It came with a lot of Combine Industrial features such as a govener and special clutch & radiator.

He was wondering what color it was when new? Also how do they compare to a Model A car engine. I have a 8N Ford industrial engine out of a Woods Pull Combine in a 9N tractor. But that was an identical switch.
