Gleaner K cable

The choke cable on my Gleaner K is stuck, just wondering what would be the best to soak it in? Motor oil? Diesel fuel?? Kerosene?? The throttle cable was moveable and did even better after I greased the wire inside. Need to get the choke cable working again.

I"d use PB Blaster. Take the cable out, put it in a long pipe, pvc, etc., cap one end, and fill the pipe with PB B. Let it soak for a couple of days.
