I saw a few posts back that you were about to scrap some blue sheet metal. I'd like to buy a few pieces off you if you still have it. I always wanted 2 sets of perforated elevator doors, but they are 181.00 apiece. I already blew my budget on a new threshing plate (750.00) and a little elbow on the hydro motor (288.00). But my dealer is a big help to me by putting it on a stock order so I get free shipping from Germany. I bought a clutch-brake lining once, a little piece about as big as your thumb, for about 10.00. Problem was, it cost 77.00 shipping. Anyway, I'd love to know what you have, inside or out. Thanks.

Hey Fritz,I haven't scrapped anything yet.I am going to keep the two running combines and two for parts but I would be glad to talk to you and I will part with anything I dont need. If you do facebook look me up and lets chat.

Fritz, you can probably make or get made those perforated doors cheaper than you can buy them off Claas if you have some old sieves/screens. My dad ran the Claas versions of the 642 when they were new.....long time ago, but I'm pretty sure he had full length perforated auger bottoms made that we used under the clean grain cross auger in tough Field beans. Grain cleaner dealers keep sheets of perforated screen, but it's not cheap either. Chris

I'll try you're idea as soon as I find out Haley doesn't have any lying around. I did price the stuff; it's $75 for a 4'x8' sheet.
