Massey 35 Combine

My dad and I attended an auction south of Sedalia, MO back in May to watch some A-C items sell. This cute little MF 35 combine caught my eye, so I decided to take a few pictures. It looks larger in the picture then it actually is. I"m not sure what the market is for these machines, but I thought it went for a very reasonable price (around $500?). I almost had a weak moment, but I don"t have the space to store it inside next to my Gleaner T.

Brian,thanks for the picture..I'm glad that I wasn't there as I couldn't have
kept my hands in my pockets....$500 was a steal for a well kept 35 Massey..

Clemson U used to use some of those for plot combines.
Rode in the bin of one one day bagging soybeans in paper bags.

Used one for several years, also had the 2 row corn head for it. Ours was the 8' model, would have been better with the 7' head that was avaible. When the drive tire on the left side blows the seat drops out from under you.

The first time I seen one of them is when a neighbor bought one of then. He must of weighted well over 300 lbs. Always wondered about the bracing that held the seat. Had another neighbor that did not weight much over 120 lbs and he owned a 1954 John Deere 55. He had to stand up on the seat to see in the grain tank.
