Case Combine Bushings

Hello, i am repairing my Case 660 combine and ordered all new bushings for replacement. Before i ordered i noticed bushing O4505BF2 had dimensions listed on the CaseIH website. I crossed the metric over and it came out to 7/16 ID, but the places the bushing goes on to is 5/8. The other bushing listed were F16808, for other locations with no specs on the website. I have received the bushings, the F16808 is 5/8 ID, the O4505BF2 is 7/16 ID (thought maybe case mismarked the specs). The same part numbers are in my old parts book, i was wondering if the O4505BF2 bushings are wrong and i should just order 12 more F16808's, or drill out the O45's. The OD's are slightly off, by 3 hundreths, and the F16's seem a bit softer then the O45's. Any opinions would be appreciated.

The bushings are different.it's been along
time since I did my. Be sure to tighten
brackets slow and even

Well the 7/16 bushings wont fit unless i drill them out because the positions they fit are 5/8, I can only guess they are manufactured to wrong specification. The F bushings fit everything perfectly. Do you remember if you noticed a size problem when you did your bushings?

It's has been a long time ago but if I
remember right.I believe 4 bushings fit
really tight and the others almost pushed on
by hand I would have to dig through my old
book and get the part numbers and chase down
the bushings. I think I still have a few of
each hopefully case nutty can shed some
light on this subject

there are two different sized ones for sure but even the ones that are correct should fit Snug,, I always have to drive them on with a rubber hammer,, always have the shoe/rack at half stroke before you tighten them down and for sure tighten them Evenly the smaller ones I think are for the grain pan pivots on the 600-960 machines
cnt

Thank you for the replies, i was able to spend some time on the machine today, and hammered some on as i am putting it back together. They are very snug but they do seem like they will work and not tear apart under movement. Thanks again everyone for the help, it is much appreciated to share your knowledge on these older machines.
