Pivot shaft bearings in F2

Need to replace the bearings on the upper pivot shaft on my F2, with the variable speed header drive, and not sure how to attack it. Do i need to take the big outer snap ring off, or the smaller inner snap ring (around the rotating hydraulic fitting) to get it apart? And i assume the 3 big bolts and spacers need to come out first. Are there any tricks? I would hope you can disassemble it enough to replace bearings without having to completely take apart the cylinder seals and such.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
