JD 4400 unloading auger tube question

My JD 4400 upon looking at the unload auger tube I noticed the head of the pin fastener is broken off. (Part # H78180, no longer available). I tried pounding the pin out from the top but will not budge. I'm soaking it in PB blaster hoping it will come loose. What will I need to do to remove it? Apply some heat? Could it be drilled out from the top so far and insert a bolt to hold the top part in place? I've removed these pins before but never had them stuck like this one. I do not have acetylyne torch. When removed I can find something that will suffice. Any assistance is always appreciated.

That pin is just a piece of rod with a bend on one end and a cotter key hole in the other. Just make one.

On getting one out that is stuck. Use an air hammer if you have one. It will jar it out long before you will with a hammer and punch.
