I recently bought a 6620 not too far from home and on the way home it was running close to red on the heat gauge. Engine and top radiator hot, but bottome of radiator cold. I put in two new thermostats and same program. With both thermostats in, i have circualtion through the heater in cab, but none through the radiator. I removed one thermostat and have good movement through the radiator top to bottom. Radiaator looks clean and has been replaced at some point. Can I run with one thermostat, and can a water pump "wear out" to the point it wont' move water through thermostats, but will move water without one?
