L2 clean grain auger removal

Installing a new clean grain auger and bearings on an L2. Is this pretty straight forward or does anybody have an input to make it go smooth. Thanks.

I haven't done that job, but I can't see why it wouldn't be pretty straightforward. If Gleaner holds true to form, this job should be pretty easy, like most Gleaner repairs. Not looking at the machine right now, but I suspect you may have to pull the boot off the end of the elevator where bearing is to slide the auger out. Of course, you may already have this job done and be in the field. Let me know how it goes/went.

Took 2 guys 45 minutes. On the boot end we were able to remove just the end plate where the bearing goes. We did use the torch on the bearings..
