1660 hyd problem

my CIH 1660 has a small oil tube that goes somewhere under the cab to a sensor/ switch I can't find. In an old forum it says it is a safety switch and my header wont raise and unload auger wont move, Pack rat ate off the little tube and cant find the sensor/ switch. Thanks

You've got me confused! If you have an oil "tube" damaged, I assume there's oil running out of it? The only small "tube" I can think of is the 1/8" plastic tube for the manifold/boost pressure gauge. It enters the left rear corner of the cab, same place as the wiring, and hyd. valve. Rats have chewed it in two twice on my 1660. Nothing else. I would think your problem is more likely electrical. Have you pulled the step/cover off from over the hyd. valve? The only safety switch I can think of is a safety start switch on the clutch pedal.

Thanks yes it ended up the oil pressure thing on the block with 3 wires one goes to idiot light and other two go to a safety header lift switch. Part number 1964960c1. He boost tube is from intake. I found an old post that wasn"t correct. Thanks it works now.
