Just finally got to look at the turbine and it's interesting. But I think it's not going to be cost effective for many. Don't think many people are going to be able to afford it especially since AGCO is involved in it.wonder what the weight of the machine is since some roads have weight and width restrictions especially here in Wisconsin. Going to have to have big fields.
 
AGCO was only involved with the first working prototype. The production machine is an axial rotor machine of their own design. I agree, it is only for the really big fields.
 
The prototype was a Gleaner. But it is now a axial. I saw it at the farm progress show. I thought they should have stuck with the transverse rotor.
