Timothy seed and an AC66 combine

Anyone ever harvest timothy seed with a AC66? I might have missed a good opportunity this summer to combine some and get to use my combine. Neighbor had a field he didn't cut for hay and it went to seed. Probably the same situation next year. Overall a nice field and if I had thought of it soon enough I know he would let me harvest the seed.I got the idea this week when the big farmer across the road from me combined some clover seed. Had a couple of huge JD machines and dust blowing a mile out the back. I've got the manual for setting on mine, don't have a screen for something that small.

I think that seed would be very light, so you would need to close down the air to the shoe to prevent blowing all the seed back into the field. Dad had a sieve with small holes for alfalfa and a different sieve with really narrow slots for grass seed.

Don't try to get the seed too clean with the combine or you will lose too much. Let it be a little dirty/chaffy and clean it up later with a fanning mill where you will have better control.
