Tribine Harvesters are impressive!

Bet I cant afford one; but am impressed with the machine at the 2016 Farm Progress show. 16 row corn head can operate for 24 hours straight on 500 gallon of Diesel. Grain tank of 1000 bushels can unload in 2 minutes!!!

Don't know what I am talking about? Do a search for Tribine out of Kansas, & see what I mean.

Sure looks impressive. Be interesting if they sale though. What engines do they have in them? Did they give a selling price?

I was at the 2016 farm progess show and did see and also talk with the head of shop operations that had the leading hand at building these machines.
To date there is only 2 machines built with limited quantities to be built in 2017 upon request orders.
Has 2 cummins engines......
All time 4wd......
Machine is drove by joystick.....
Glass cab floor......
Unloading auger on display machine slides in and out on end for transport......genius idea!!!!!
1,000 bushel grain tank.......great idea!!!!!

Has a Deere interface for head hookups....
Asking price.....$500k without heads.

The staff at show was very pleasant to talk with and seemed interested in listening to farmers thoughts and suggestions on machine.
I wish them luck and I hate to see anyone fail but with no dealer/parts support and with current commodity prices they face lots of challenges
The resale value would scare me too!
Wonder how long before Deere tries to buy them and scrap the idea!? Lol

My Goodness. Looks to be, a Grain Buggy Operator's Night Mare. Looks like one heck of a Job, to keep the Grain, away from it. Would have to keep, a steady line, of trucks, to haul it away.

If I understand it correctly, the concave is rotating around the cylnder to help improve threshing efficiency?

The main concerns I have are lots more parts and moving pieces to break and soil compaction.
In theory, you may be able to unload in the headlands and keep all the grain carts off the main rows.
In theory, no more of a problem hauling away from this than a similar sized combine with an equal size header.
I don't even want to think about getting this bad boy stuck.

Seems like technology is on the edge of having (reliable) driverless grain cart tractors- wouldn't that eliminate the need for this?
