Looking for a two row wide belted head for a fox chopper If anybody on here knows where one is please let me know
Could also use a 7234 new style too these have the single gathering chains in them and low tin

Hey Mtnfarmer, did that guy on newag ever get those 6660's you guys were talking about? Was wondering if those were in southern IL?

If I find any heads, will let you know.

Yeah he got them and is ready to use one that was running haven't heard on the parts machine though. But those things where down inthe marshfield wi area. Don't you live up around greenbay if you do there is one real close to you that you can go look at Fellows namei david loritz in luxumburg wi his came from down around Madison wi area Was advertised on craigslist with a busted piston I called him about it and already gone Said this david loritz bought it and I called him to see what he was going to do with it He already had it torn apart fixing it Talked to him about three row head that came with it because he is going to put a 4 row on it said he hadn't decided so I'm still at ground zero for my head problem I need one of the three heads two row wide belted or 7234 or 7334 chain types

Why do ask about Illinois I used to know abou t one down in Iowa ? Might have been Illinois Do you know where any more of these are I know where 7 are. 6 of them are working machines. But the head thing is the big deal everbody wants a 4 row but can't get rid of their 3 row because there were not many 4 rows made only knew wher 5 four row heads wher at and have lost track of 2 of them

The one with the busted piston is the one I was curious about - saw it on CL, and thought it was in southern IL for some reason.............I think it had to do with the area code connected to the phone number.

I will see if I can go look at that one - would like to see one in person. I am 9 miles south of Luxemburg, approx.

You should send me an e-mail, then I can just email you if I find a head. [email protected]

Thanks!

I believe he had it for sale on Craigslist.

But then there wasone for sale in Wisconsin
State Farmer.

Both listings were removed, so I assume
they both sold. Not sure if they are the
same one or not.

I went and looked at that 6660......what a beastly
machine!! Is a 4WD too.....WAY heavier than my
old Super D, lol. Heavy duty would be an
understatement. Pretty awesome looking, glad I got
to see one. Guy was super nice.

Someday I will have to save up and find
one.....although a 6650 would more than suit my
needs. I only chop 40 or so acres a year, anyway.

Getting the D ready for corn, enjoying doing brake
work this year. Impossible to get these drums off
without taking the whole axle shaft out....they lock
on the taper REAL hard! Other than that, ready to
go.

Yeah a 6650 is same cutter unit the 6660 is a lot nicer frame and cab design heavier frame and more compact on the 4wd axle design
