Trying to help a friend repair his combine. Combine has a stack of valves near cab door. Which valve raises?lowers the feeder
housing? (housing raises won't go down)

Second problem Can not engage the threshing componets. I don't think there is power to the valve.

Cab smells of mice guessing the mice ate the wires.
 
On the outside of the cab, right side, opersite the door there is a large panel below the window. Remove it and you should find wiring and relays. Start looking there first. I think those combines may have some sort of safety that cuts header electrics when oil pressure is low so maybe confirm engine oil pressure sender is working. I'm not sure about that but seem to remember hearing about it.
 
Also pull up the parts diagram for combine on CNH web site. It has pretty good diagrams of valve stack that you can print off.
