Massey Ferguson 35 Combine Questions

How do you determine date of manufacture by the serial number on a MF 35 self propelled Combine, and how do you determine if the 2 row corn head with it is the proper one? The grain table is mounted on it, the corn head is right beside it. Looking at buying this combine from the Co-op I work for. It has belonged to the co-op for longer than I have worked there, (17 years) always shedded, only used to harvest test plots. Has not moved for the last 3-5 years.....

I will have to look. I hope to get back out to the branch where the combine is stored this week..... Can you tell me where the s/n plate would be located on the combine?

I used the wrong number. I took a picture of the Serial number tag, and it had 4 different numbers. the one I gave you is the engine serial number....I can't read the machine serial number. I will have to go back out and look again.....Sorry...

book shows a 1960 or 1961 model as the 1961 starting # has NA or not available,,

starting serial for 1960----91503306
starting serial for 1961----NA
starting serial for 1962----91506506

Thank you sir....That means the Co-op bought it used...The seed division was not started until 1976. I do have a picture of it harvesting a test plot with the Gehl head mounted on it.
