Gleaner L2 Tattletale Issues

Calling all Gleaner Guys. Do any of you know of a place where I can get these units rebuilt? What about new ones? What about a new harness for the overhead? This combine has had some rodents in it. They got both the tattle tale wires as well as the harness it plugs into. This will be my second year with this machine and I would like to get her fixed right. Also, what have you guys done to combat the peeling off of the monitor facings?

Thanks!

Can't help with parts up in Canada, but when you store the combine, take out the blank panels in the overhead console, drop the hinged plenum for the a/c ducts and radio, pull out the cab air filter, take the front panel off the side console and take off every removable side panel on the combine. Pour a quart or so of used oil in the separator, thresher and in the grain tank. Rodents do not like the smell of oil, and opening up the combine reduces the number of spots they can nest. I like to run mine once or twice over the winter to discourage them. Does help some. Ben

A Gleaner dealer should have a suitcase tester which any of those modules can get plugged into and checked out. If it's a simple wire repair you can do that. It's handy to have that much eliminated as trouble. Then you can chase issues through the rest of the machine. Is the overhead harness beyond repair?

Regarding taking out the panels....I tossed the philips screws and replaced them with hex head screws....no issue of them rusting in, just use a nutdriver to remove...much easier to do.
