I bought a pretty good JD 235 corn head at a sale just to keep it from going to scrap. I am pretty sure it is for a JD 45 combine. I do not have any close to me to measure the feeder house width to make sure it is the one for a JD 45. So could some of you tell me??? I then can advertise it for sale.

I just hate to see useable stuff scraped.

I have a real good always shedded 435 that is my 95 that I want to get rid of but hate the idea of it going to scrap as well. We changed both the 95 and 105 to quik-tach feederhouses and have a 444 with poly now. Wish I could find someone who wants a good 435. It has never set out except when being used but takes up to much shed space. Tom

26". the 45 uses a V belt drive, wheareas a 55/95 use roller chain drive. The lift cylinder mounts are different too.45 uses a 'cup' for the lift cylinder,a 55/95 use a clevis/pin type. However,I not sure if a 235 was made for 45.I may be wrong.A pic of the drive and the lift cylinder mount would tell me for sure.

JD,
Mike has it nailed, l think that they also made brackets so they would fit a 95 also. I looked for nearly ten years for a good 205 head to restore and finally found two that I could combine to make one good one. Nearly finished and will post some pictures when we are finished. Tom
