Got this pic from a friend this week. It was taken within the last month. Understand one was sold, one donated to threshing show group, and rest went for scrap. Owner passed away recently and when one broke down he got another, from the shed. Enjoy!

Wonder how many of those are windrow specials or of any were diesels and hydros? Would have loved to have one of the cab less ones. Those were good combines and the best conventionals IH made. It was a design that started with the 151 and lasted through the 715. Pretty good run.

My dad harvested with a 503 for many years. A great machine for harvesting corn. Not so good for soybeans. Could have been the platform tho.

Yes, Skip owned them all, and was a old customer of mine, often times when I needed to slow things down a bit in harvest, would drive out and watch him harvest, with a couple of them, and a show room 47 Dodge truck.
One of them went to our show.

That's probably how 99 percent of them came. I have run across two 403s with hydros during my life time.
